Today at lunch Tee was telling me that on Sundays at his camp they can only do work from 10-3 because they have what they call "quiet time", so Sundays at his office are very relaxed and laid back. It got me thinking how I love and miss quiet time and lazy Sundays. To me Sunday is the best day of the week to just relax and enjoy life. At home a usual Sunday would consist of waking up, going to church early, cooking a big Sunday dinner, and then just taking the rest of the day to do whatever you would like to do; may it be visiting with friends and family, laying around watching old movies all day, going fishing, riding horses, or just sleeping the day away. Whichever way you would like to spend it, Sundays are the best day of the week to reflect over the past week, look forward to the upcoming week, and recoup from the weekend activities. In Iraq we work 7 days a week 12 hours a day so the lazy Sundays are not figured into my schedule but I do look forward to having them again once we are back at home.
