ลา ก่อน

Yes, I know it looks like gibberish but that is actually the word goodbye in Thai. I am leaving early, early in the morning for Dubai where I will relax in my hotel for a few hours then head off to the airport to pick up Mia. We fly out tomorrow night and will be on the beach in Phuket by lunch on Friday. Pray for safe travels for the both of us and I will talk to everyone when I get back around the 24th or so. I hope you guys enjoy the FFFFFRRREEEZZZIINNGGG weather in Texas!!!! :)

Hugs,
Megan

DREAM

Project

I have no idea what to call this post or this little project I just thought of but I was looking for a picture of "sleep" to go along with the previous post and I stumbled across all these really fantastic pictures. I know that there are a million cool pictures floating around and my new goal is each day to post a photo that I like. It may range from futuristic to simple to fantasy but I promise they will be really cool and sometimes inspirational. The title of each post will be the keyword of how I find each photo for example, LOVE. I am going on vacation in a few days so I will be absent most of this month but I will start it today, do it until I leave, and then I will pick back up when I get back. I am not big into photography, especially in Iraq so this is sort of my own spin on the Project 365. Stay tuned!

Nightshift :(

I am just sitting at work at 2:13 AM and trying to stay awake....NO I usually don't work night shift but tonight Randall, our usual night shift guy, took a holiday. This means that a co-worker and I each took half of his shift. I work from midnight until noon then I get to go home and cozy up in my bed and sleep until Wednesday, when I must be back for my regular shift. (this cozying up in my bed is after a very huge lunch) It is almost equivalent to staying out all night on a Saturday night and being lazy on a Sunday LOL!!! How I miss those times. Anyways, I just finished watching the movie "The Jane Austen Book Club". I loved it, if you haven't seen it then I recommend it. I am also a little over half way through the book "Julie and Julia: 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen and I am so sorry to say it is taking all I have to continue reading and finish this book. I bought the book right after watching the movie. I loved the movie so much I thought the book has to be a ton better, right? WRONG! I am sorry people but this book takes so many different directions I can barely keep up. This woman is totally neurotic; after I finish this book I don't know if I am going to be able to force myself to read the next one by the same author. Hopefully it will get better by the end I will be sure to let everyone know how the end leaves me, but so far it is leaving a bad taste in my mouth LOL! Pray I don't fall asleep on the job.

Trials of our Life

Ok so I guess it is about time I come clean....over the past year Tee and I have had a few ups but mostly downs. Over a year ago I made the singal worst mistake of my entire life and probably the worst mistake ever for the rest of my life. Without going into a lot detail Tee has decided to try to move on with his life and of course this breaks both our hearts but if it is meant to be then of course it will be. We haven't been married since August and I guess I have been putting on sort of a charade because I am deteremined to not give up and of course I was totally ashamed. I am still not giving up on Tee or on our love but I guess it is just time to try to pick up a few pieces of my life and not so much move on but try to accept it as best I can for now. Anyways, not that anyone necessarily wants to know any of this or that I should even be telling I just felt like it was time (after months LOL).

So on a happy note- Happy New Year Day eat lots of cabbage and black eyed peas.
